[再び]ネトレプコ

頼んでいたDVDが届きました。一気に最後まで見てしまいました。懐かしいリュドミーラがびっくりするほどきれいな映像で収録されていました。ドン・ジョバンニの真紅の衣装を見て、あっ、ここはBS2で放送されたものだと気が付きました。ウィーン国立の椿姫のひとコマでは泣けて来ました。




ファーストアルバムに映像をつける目的で、その陣頭指揮にあたったのが、マイケル・ジャクションなどのプロモーションで有名なVincent Patersonだそうです。彼女はこの分野でも、並々ならぬ才能を示したと語っていました。

インタビュー・シーンが豊富に入っており、彼女の苦労話から現在のオペラへの取り組み方、考え方などに関して詳細な知識を得ることができました。この話を聞くだけでウルウルしてくるのは何故でしょうか。それは人を感動させる能力、それも天才的なものを持ち備えているように思います。いわく、「感情移入だけでは作品の全てを伝えることはできない」と・・・、彼女の聡明な一端が現れた言葉だと思います。

ファンとしては圧倒的に男性が多そうですね。作品を表現するための彼女の知恵や工夫が、単に感情的ではない面が我々の刺激をそそられるためでしょうか。
